Collation: Oblong folio, 29 engraved leaves and one blank.

Binding: Pastepaper boards with engraved label ‘H.F. & G. Carte no.0284’ (number in manuscript) on upper board. Rebacked, new endleaves.
Price: £3,500

A very attractive salesman’s catalogue of brass fittings for cabinet makers. The range of goods offered includes draw knobs and handles, locks, key-hole plates and covers.

This appears to be similar to a volume in the Cooper-Hewitt Museum (catalogued as [Birmingham brass catalogue, ca. 1780s]). The Cooper-Hewitt copy has engraved page numbers and the items are numbered in the 600s. In the present example there are no page numbers and the items are numbered in four or five figures. Both have prices entered in manuscript.
