Engraving, image 366 x 249mm, platemark 378 x 257mm, sheet 535 x 415mm, untrimmed with deckle edges on all sides. Old folds with small pin-holes, edges slightly frayed. A good impression.

The basic operations of arithmetic and a multiplication table neatly designed by a writing master to fit into a single engraving. This was no doubt made for the use of Bédigis’ pupils who would have been taught arithmetic along with writing. He does not seem to have issued any writing manuals and this may be his only published work. A number of books from his library are known, some with covers decorated by himself or his father, the writing master François Bédegis (1738–1814). Coulubrier specialised in music engraving, including dance sheets and one publication at least with music composed by his wife, Bacquoy-Guédon, La cour de Paphos, contredanse françaisegravée par Coulubrier et la musique par son épouse (Paris, Castagnery, undated).
